Power DVD problem

Hi all,

I just installed WindowsBlinds 5 and like it very much.
But now when I play an DVD op Power DVD, I only hear sound but can't see any pictures, movie.
when I unload WB5 it works okay, so I tried to make a rule in the Per Application section with no results
still no picture.
is there another way to get PowerDVD working with WB5?
any help greatly appreciated

MAXimize your PowerDVD window, stop, then start playing again and it works fine. It's apparently a Windows overlay bug that causes the conflict with WB5, not a big issue though

How come every time someone mentions a problem it's automatically a Windows bug problem and not WB5.  These issues were not evident in version 4.6 and also, when WB5 in unloaded the problems go away.  This evidentally points the finger directly at WB5.  I don't care if there's some small hidden issue in Windows overaly that causes this, my main gripe about issues such as these is that WB5 seems to just find and show A LOT of Windows issues that aren't evident with version 4.6.  Seems to me that the core of WB5 is just flawed in it's design.  I'm having a list of issues with my WB5 and it's not fun.  SD should have paid me money to test their software rather then me pay them money to do the testing.  This is getting very old quickly!

I agree, this isn't a bug in Windows, it's a bug in WB5, something that should obviously had been tested and fixed. BTW, this "workaround" doesn't work for me, I still get no video, and it doesn't work for VLC either. The only program that I CAN get video from is WMP10, which is garbage and I prefer not to use it, but until this horrendous issue with WB5 gets resolved I either have to unload WB (which half the time doesn't even work correctly) or use the dreaded WMP10. I'm beginning to think the money spent on WB5 was definitely not worth it since it still appears to be a beta in a sense.
