Transparency Does Not Work

Trial Version WB5

Hi. I have downloaded the trial version of WB5 and planned to buy the enhanced version, but I seem to be having a problem with the transparency. The problem is that none of the Windows borders seem to be transparent, even in themes where I have clearly seen previews showing non-maximized windows borders to be transparent, such as arrow, and Vista XP. My Taskbar and start menu is translucent, as it should be, but no single windows is. Every window looks like a maximized, opaque window, even when it should have the glass effect. Can someone help me out here. Why am I never getting the glass effect? Thanks in advance.

Plus, I have this when I click on sys info:

WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report:

STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.

Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha.

1 The trial version only supports per pixel for the skins that come with it.

I was under the impression that things would simply be slower, but that transparency would still work. I guess not.

Thanks

Oops sorry, forgot one thing. How come transparency still works for the taskbar and drop down menus? Or is this something that does not require per pixel alpha acceleration?

Thanks again.
