Installation Help

Hey guys.

I tried to install WindowsBlinds today, but it doesn't.

The download process goes about half way, and then it says :

An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file.

Here's a picture.

Help please.

Thank you

Are you installing from a thumb (USB) drive, or a CD - or using a downloaded file?

If you are trying to install the 'shareware' version - you might try redownloading the installer file , using the following method:

"Right-click the download link > select 'Save Target as' > select 'All Files' in the 'Save as Type' drop-down list of Save dialog > save to say My Documents > double-click to start the installation process".

Note - make sure to unload all programs except your Firewall and Anti-Virus before attempting to install.

I tried it the way you told me to, it still says the same thing.

This is what I do.

I go to the homepage of the WindowBlinds website. I click the download WindowBlinds. I click the free option. It then takes me to a new website. I click download. That's how I did it the first time.
