Lost Top of Task Manager??!?!?!?

Hi all....

New to DesktopX, but when I tried it the first time, I installed the digital revenge desktop (or something like that), didn't have the proper time then to test it; so when it didn't respond within a couple of minutes I shut the machine off and uninstalled the software.  Its at that time that I noticed I had lost all but the main window area of the task manager (cntrl-alt-del), and without the tabs on the top of that window I can only look at processes, not which programs are running etc (no menu bar on the top of the window either).

Now I have enough time to test the program properly so I will re-install it.  But, in the meantime, the task manager problem still exists.  Any ideas how to fix it short of re-installing the operating system?
