WB5 is buggy

It seems clear that everybody has problems with the current version of WB5. So when is Stardock going to release the next version of it?

What problems you are facing?

WB 5 is in-fact is a new experiment, a new way to skin the UI of windows and NO other application could have achieved it yet. We are basically exploring a new world and you people are our eyes, so if you find something wrong or good ... please let us know

Remmber, problesm are like rollar-coaster, when you have achieved one, the other comes infront of you so as the life goes on. And it is a famous HR Theory that a problem is a great tool of learning once you identify it.

Is it really clear? It's working fine here. Been using it since the beta came out without issues. This doesn't say that nobody got problems, but it also means not everybody got problems. You'll see posts here from those who have problems, but not very likely to see people posting that WB5 works fine (allthough it does happend). Just my 2 cents.

That beeing said. There is a WB5 refresh beta for ODNT subscribers at the moment. Here's the changelog for it:

WB 5.00 refresh beta
--------------------------
Some bug hunting based on user feedback.

-Added some of the strings to Default.lng for translation, though
there are a couple others we need to hit.
-Fix for icq install issue
-Fix for slow menus in opera
-Fix for total commander focus issue
-Fix for shockwave games in fullscreen issue
-Fix for newsleecher scrollbar issue
-Fix for display properties integration thinking it was shareware.

If you are experiencing problems with ActiveWords cpu usage, please
drop a note to neil@stardock.com with information on what's happening
and other processes running on your system (start / run / tasklist.exe > c:\mytasks.txt
and then email that file).

WB 5.00 refresh beta
--------------------------
Some bug hunting based on user feedback.

-Fix for Clipmate 7 explorer toolbar addin casing taskbar flicker
-Excluded Clipmate 7 ownerdrawn menus
-Fixed maximized MDI child buttons showing classic buttons
-Fix for apps sometimes turning black with multiple/varied per app skins
-Shellstyle colour masks (rarely used), were not being used.
-Fix for Galciv2 + boundchecker + running the debugger
-Replaced skin database for now with a flat file to deal with
the people reporting ODBC driver issues.
-Prompts for people where were running cracked versions
of the WindowBlinds 5 betas to remove the regkeys that they
were trying to bypass product activation with so things work. This
was preventing wbconfig from loading at all.
-No fixes for people using anti-Windows Product Activation hacks (antiwpa.dll)

Still looking into the ActiveWords reports.

I'd think getting the refresher done is quite high priority for SD. (just guessing here, don't quote me)

WB5 has been working here fine since day one. I don't see any bugs. So saying WB5 is buggy and everyone has problems is just not accurate - but I guess it's easy to say something like that isn't it..

Working fine for me as well since first installing it.
