I thought that instead of publicly questioning someone's integrity that permission issues were supposed to be handled by email between the person questioning the need for permission and the person who posted the item. If the result of that correspondence is not satisfactory, then the person concerned about the permission is supposed to approach a moderator with the issue, again by email, to avoid the possibility of false accusations that cannot be undone after they were made public...

Actually i placed it above the wall in question and is exactly the same. Notifying an admin would result to probable deletion of the wall, which would be sad, cause it is a really good wall. Just trying to find out whether the artist knows about permissions needed. Already left a comment on the wall too.

Certainly not! Don't have the time for this! Moreover i'm just a student of Archaeology, not a webmaster, not even a graphic designer.

You got them skills though, bro.

My friend Aimzzz is right. Privatly e-mailing the parties or an admin would prevent possible dissensions!

Cyberworld - I was a bit wound up when I got home. If you take what I said and lower the intensity level a few notches, you will have what I meant. To me it's important to follow procedure on this particular issue.

Soon sorted Thanks for the info. Permission should always be obtained before upload....

e-mail is always preferable... though you have no way of knowing who is online

I know, i know, just was curious to see whether the author knew about it. Already tried to get in touch with the author via posting message on wall, also was planing to sent him e-mail, but he doesn't have one. Reporting to an admin would just take it down as rip without second guessing!
