Bootskin does not show correctly

I have an issue the original image is only 16 colors and I am even able to reduce it to 8 colors and still look good.  But when bootskin loads it at bootup the image is very grainy.  Image comparison below any idea why it is so bad in bootskin but looks perfect in the preview?

Any idea why the image looks so bad in bootskin?  Before SP2 this boot screen looked perfect using BootXP.

Perhaps you should try to uninstall and then reinstall BootXP? Perhaps, SP2 conflicted with a driver somehow? See how that helps out..

Keep in mind the members of the community live all around the world.  Greenwich Mean Time was established because the world is aggregated into time zones.
