Premium Suites

I recently purchased two suites. Oxidized & Toons. Now i'm told that i don't qualify for the R.I.P. visual style. i don't think that i'll purchase any more. This web site is getting to petty.

Huh?  Why do you think you should get a different premium skin for free?  That's like saying you bought Star Wars on DVD but are mad that you didn't qualify to be able to get Empire Strikes back for free.

R.I.P. has nothing to do with purchasing other suites, it is a Premium Skin Suite for Wincustomize subscribers.

What is petty about giving the people who help keep this site running by subscribing more than those who don't.

If I am not mistaken, the R.I.P. visual style is for WinCustomize subscribers, not for people who purchased a product allowing them to download content.

sureshot106, individual premium skins are sold separately from the ones offered when you buy a subscription to WinCustomize (RIP, Augustus and Kryptonite)
Your argument can easily be applied to those that purchase a subscription and might question why they can’t get the Universe Metal or Quamarine skins.

It's funny, but here in Miami there are a few car dealers that will give you $1000.00 worth of gas with a purchase of a car.

Why should you buy the cow if you get the milk for free? ...actually that does not apply here at all.


No it doesn't SD. It should me more like 'Why should I buy the cow if it doesn't come with a sac of coffee' or 'I just bought the cow, why can't I get a sac of coffee with it'

There will always be those in life who don't get it. I'm not sure if debates will solve the issues for these people or not. Probably not. But it is nice to see that so many of those who do support this site rally together a bit in a united front that says "let's make it work"

So true SD, but I think is the basic of understanding that get lost in the transaction.
Some might mistake or rather assume that with a purchase of premium skins they have access or are entitled to other premium skins just because they are 'Premium Skins'

And they either add the cost on elsewhere or reduce the value of the car.....I heard of one such dealer here in Aus, who replaced the good quality tyres a car shipped with and put on inferior ones. Naturally, he sold the good quality tyres to make an even bigger killing.....and got caught.

No, it is you who is getting petty....quibbling over something that was made known from day dot to only be available to subscribers. Stardock/WC presents the RIP suite to subscribers to show appreciation for their support and dedication to the site. Obviously you are not being shown that same appreciation because you've not subscribed.
