CursorXP causing tooltips to flicker

CursorXP causes almost all tooltips to flicker on/off. Killing the process or checking the 'disable all' button in mouse properties will restore tooltips to working order.
Windows explorer shell tooltips, the original start bar and visual studio [half the time] are the only tooltips that work correctly with cursorXP enabled. All other programs using tooltip features flicker horribly.
Theme in CursorXP doesnt seem to make any difference, its an all or nothing thing, except visual studio which is only affected part of the time [may be due to visual assist taking over tooltips/intelisence]. Java GUIs are affected aswell [Poseidon for UML is considerably bad as pretty much EVERYTHING in that app has tooltips, which is great, but not when CursorXP interferes]
CursorXP is a great program, but with this flaw it makes using it impossible, its just simply unbearable to do anything with constant flicker when your mouse is around any tooltip hover points.
