Window blind wallpaper help

hi if this is a repeat post i'm sorry, I don't see my original... anyway, I'm using WB on a Dimension 8400 w/an apple HD Cinema 23" display @ 1920*1200 resolution. My question is what is the best way to go about editing the background bmps so they don't get warped. Example Carbon Sapphire XP wallpaper, with the carbon sphere in the middle. the sphere gets shorter and longer and is no longer round but eliptical... I have photoshop or any tool needed to edit, i'm just not sure how to go about it. I'm new to windowblinds and so far my favs are carbon sphere xp and Repetoire. Which chance would have it also has a circular object center on the wallpaper... any help would be appreciated. Thanks

maintain aspect ratio when blowing it up. then crop to fit.

ooooh. just looked at your resolution again. I'd suggest getting it as close as you can without warping the sphere, then adding a border or frame - if enlarging to about 1920x1440 and then cropping doesn't work.
