Missing info: Starbase does not tell what its resource type is

When you click on an existing starbase, there is not enough information displayed. One important item, is the type of resource it is mining. In general, a lot more info should be provided about a starbase when you query it.

Agreed. About the only place it shows is if you're upgrading it with another constructor and you already have started mining it. Then it shows the resource type and what percent you're mining it.

You can click on the resource itself to see what type it is even if you have starbase built on it. This might require some zooming and/or rotation of the map.

I agree, the starbase screen is very basic atm. Clear and easy view of the resource type is essential.

The componet Basic Support What is that componet for anyways? it seems that the constructor comes with it! and you should be able to make Mini-Ships IE:like sensor drones small so you can make other types of small ships...

Do you mean Basic life support? It extends the maximum range of the ship, add one or more of those to a design and the ship can travel further away from your colonies. I think stardock plan to let us design our own sensor probe sized ships, but it isn't in yet. Oh and no offence, but try to stay on topic, this thread is about the starbase screen so your comments will get lost in the shuffle unless they are easy to find.
