Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure has had its fair share of publicity and fanfare. The game, which has the player "tagging" their style all over the New York-like world, in hopes of "getting up" in the community. These gameplay elements have led to the game being attacked by New York City Councilman Peter F. Vallone and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg for fear that impressionable players may reenact the game's elements.
Well this isn't one of those kind of stories. Atari announced today that Getting Up, in all its forms, would be hitting the streets in November, as opposed to the old date of Fall 2005. Atari has also stated that they wanted to get the game out a bit earlier but decided that a few more weeks in development would be best.
