Updating problem

Window Blinds 4.6

So I downloaded the premium version of Window Blinds 4.6 a few days ago. I installed it, and it appeared to work fine. But when my system boots instead of starting WB 4.6, 4.5 starts. I was wondering how to get my premium version of 4.6 to startup when my computer boots up.

Also, I was wondering about the "Smart Buttons" thing. I saw this option on some screenshots and it was on the top left list. I supposedly have the premium version of 4.6, so shouldn't I have this option? Any help or advice on either issue is greatly appreciated.

If you had WB 4.5 public installed, you need to uninstall that first before installing the "enhanced" version. Make sure you "Unload WindowBlinds" first so that the default Windows skin (Luna/Classic) is loaded. Copy all your WB skins to another folder before uninstalling 4.5 and then after installing 4.6 enhanced, move them back. That should resolve your problem.

Whether or not you have smart buttons is dependent upon whether the skinner included them in the skin.

I tried that. Didn't work. I uninstalled 4.5 and then installed 4.6, but 4.5 still started upon system boot. That's why all of my fucking themes are messed up.

And yes, I unloaded Windowblinds too.

Sir Buchur, okay. Thanks.

It may be something as simple as clearing a cache or user settings after uninstall, prior to install of new... I'm not sure . Corky O is working on different articles on stuff like this and has one on basic clearing caches. It and the others can be found here: Link I haven't run into this kinda problem yet so I have not much to offer since I'm still learning as I go along.
