Windows X64

WindowFX on Windows X64 Edition

Hey,

Did any of you guys tried WindowFX on Windows X64 edition. I installed WindowsBlinds from Stardock Central and it works very fine (The version seems to be 32 bits however ?). But I wonder about WindowFX. If someone has already tried I would like very much to know to avoid doing something that may jeopardize my platform.

Any Advice ?

Thanks

From the history: http://sdcentral2.stardock.com/dl.aspx?f=choyvp/jo4/cebqhpgvba/uvfgbel.ugz

4.50c beta
-------------
Optimizations to performance for themeaware apps on XP.

4.50b beta
--------------
This build adds x64 support for skinning 32/64-bit apps on Windows XP/2003 server
64-bit systems. If you are using a build prior to 1433 (rc2) for the 64-bit XP client
or the equivalent 2003 server, please update your OS before reporting any bugs.

-Switching to classic or Windows XP style causes explorer to quit & restart itself
if you switch from display properties.
-Toolbar icons in IE don't skin (same as 2003 server SP1)
-may be some load skin on startup issues, reload and that should settle out
-skin dll plugins do not work in 64 bit apps. This is normal and will not be
changed, though 64-bit plugin support can be added in the future.
-no add skin buttons in display properties

4.59b beta
------------
-Favorites menu fixes
-Fix for shellstyles issue (for Adam)
-Internal optimizations
-Rebuilt x64 version at current code level
-Tweaks to glow settings
