System Tray Problem in DesktopX

System Tray Problem in DesktopX

I recently installed DesktopX in my computer, and downloaded some themes. Though, I cannot see any programs in the space designed for the system tray programs. Any help?

Do you have sdmcp.exe running? This is a little program that ususally installs with StardockCentral and is responsible for the system tray capabilities of DesktopX and ObjectDock.

If you have Stardock Central installed go to Tools > Settings > and tick "enable MCP smart startup".

I have this problem too and enables MCP smart startup.

Im trying to run the Konstructor DX from wincustomize.com

Apparently the tray is buggy... and with all other DX..

isn't it the 'enable MCP notification area support' that brings in the tray info?

I have the icon and I have sdmcp.exe running, but when I try to right click either the DesktopX icon or the DesktopX builder icon, depending on which I have loaded, I get no menu what-so-ever. If I have a blank desktop with my theme not loaded I get the menu, but once my theme is loaded, no menu when right clicking on the icon.
