A quote from one of Stardock's FAQ pages https://www.stardock.com/support/support.asp?product=prod5#53

Can I install my copy on more than one machine?

Yes, to a point. Only one copy of the product can be used at once per license. But if you want to have it on both home and work or install it on the road that is not only allowed but recommended. As long as only one copy is actively in use (someone sitting at the computer) at any one time, and you are the primary user of each computer, you are covered.

Hope that helps

Yes, you can. A quote from the EULA:

YOU MAY:
1. Install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE on a single computer.
2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a second computer only if you are the main user of this computer (home computer or laptop for example).
3. Install the SOFTWARE on another "main" computer only if you change main workstations. In such a case you must uninstall the software from the old computer (like if you were selling the old machine).
4. Use the SOFTWARE via a network, only if you have purchased an adequate number of licenses. The number of users must not exceed the number of licenses you have purchased.
5. Make a copy of the SOFTWARE for archival purposes only.

David, just copy the Stardock Central installer to your laptop by whatever means is most convenient. (You could copy it to a USB themb drive if you have one, burn it to CD, or if you have your lpatop and home PC networked you could copy it over that way. Heck, you could even email the installer to yourself and open it from your laptop.) Then just run the installer and enter you subscription number when requested, and you'll be good to go.
You might also want to make a backup copy of whatever skins & icons, & whatever else on a CD or DVD. THen you can transfer those to the laptop without having to re-download them all over again.
