Podcasting and BitTorrent

I believe it is just a matter of time, when PodCasting and BitTorrent will be combined to reduce the bandwidth associated with PodCasting, if it hasn't already been done.

Thinking about doing some PodCasting, anyone have great links or tutorials?

On how to Podcast?

If the answer to that is "yes" ...then thru iTunes, select Podcasts/Technology/Podcasting, there are some links there that may be of help.

If the answer is "no" ...then disregard this reply

I don't remember the sources but have seen stuff on podcasting w/ BitTorrent.

Don't have how-to links, but can recommend a podcast-catcher--
iPodder, by the GNU folks. No worries about tracking, spyware, etc.

Isn't podcasting just a recording on mp3 format? If yes, I would hate to see this staying as a word like how many people use ipod for all mp3 players. Seriously hate it.
