Running code as wallpaper?

Hi guys.
Anyone who knows if there is a way to have lots of code running as a wallpaper? I still wanna see my ordinary wallpaper but id like to have transparent code, like in the movie matrix, but more like ordinary computercode running on the desktop. I think it would look really cool. Anyone who can help me? //Bill

There are some matrix screensavers, and software that allows you to run screensavers as your wallpaper. Also, you can use the active desktop to run local html objects that include flash on it. If you can find or make a flash version of the matrix code, you could run it at fullscreen as an html object.

It would be interesting for a while, but I think you'd find it wasn't worth the resources after a while. I've never had an animated wallpaper that lasted long.

Have you looked at any of the snowflake objects and modifying them? I liked this one for a while Link

Do a Google for ZMatrix. It is an old Sourceforge project that is very resource friendly and is very customizable in what it can do, what font to use, etc. It is the best program of it's kind I have seen.
