You might want to check out the video tutorial (Part #3 - Exporting 101) by Mormegil Link - it has been done in the Windows Media Player format.

You will be exporting the file, and during the export procedure you will be selecting the file format and attributes.

Vector graphics do not have backgrounds, its a digital paper, you need to convert your graphics to a bitmap and edit in Photopaint or Photoshop. You go to bitmap - convert to bitmap - and in the property window mark transparent background

good luck

I suggest not exporting it, and just copy paste the object into photoshop if you can.

Corel Draw will definitely export a png file with a transparent background - I do it all the time. Just make sure on the export to check Selected Only on the first dialog that comes up, along with PNG as the type, then check Transparent Background on the next dialog, then select Masked Area on the last dialog and hit Ok. That should give you a png file where whatever was transparent in your selection will be transparent in the file.
