Hi everyone,
Im the admin of Winmodify.com Very soon our website will be totally re-newed and I also might add a desktopX section in the near future. To 'celebrate' the relaunch I would very much like to have a 'Latest Panel' widget, where people can read our 5 latest news-items, and our 5 latest added skins. I dont have any knowledge about creating widgets so I asked stardock for help, they said I can best put up a message here, so here it is

I'm not all that good in skinning, but I made a little something something myself, based on Antu^jamban's Royale skin for desktopsidebar. You can see my concept here:

As you can see, it's a pretty simple and basic concept. Does anyone has some tips/ideas on how I can improve this design, Maybe someone is willing to create a concept too?
Any input on this concept would ofcourse be credited in the final step when the widget is done. Thanks in advance!
