Where did everyone go?

Well I finally wised up and typed in galciv2 into my firefox browser and was startled to see that there was a website for the Dread Lords and here I was trying to get an answer in the galciv forums.

I just wanted to check in with everyone, the is DarkAssassin from the old days of galciv, I've reinstalled galciv and AP and continued to play however there seems to be very little activity at the galciv site. Is everyone moving on to 2 or is everyone just falling away like I did a few years ago.

'ello DA. i iz still 'ere. we iz beta-testing da GC2. i iz still answering a few q's at da GC1 site, but iz not playin' GC1 at da moment. da GC1 site az died now, metinks (lasted up to a few months ago) but maybe u iz da man to start it all up again!

Yea, i figured that most of the devoted players would be in the beta project....
