Windowblinds acting funky?

Certain skins causing it?

I've been trying to use the airlock windowblinds theme but I've noticed some strange things happening. Scrolling in firefox and ie has become jittery, and even just loading pages or bringing up minimized programs has these weird white geometric puzzle-type patches showing up on the left and right sides of the screen. I've tried testing with other skins and some skins that used to work fine (like elsdee) are showing the same thing. Gloss (which I was using for quite some time) doesn't show any of these problems. I'm stumped, no idea why it would be doing this. I just upgraded my version of windowblinds (4.59 build 209 enhanced) and deleted/reinstalled the skin, but to no avail. Restarting temporarily fixes it...until I open another program (like photoshop for example).

Has anyone else encountered something like this, or is it just me? Any advice? It's quite irritating...it's a really nice skin.

TIA.

Does it appear on spesific controls or on the screen in general? Can you provide a screenshot?
It might be due to the graphics card driver. (Though I am not sure if I understood the issue right.)

I've tried taking a screenshot but it just happens so fast I'm not quick enough to get a shot.

About the gfx card driver...not sure, I'm on xp sp2 with all the latest updates. I wasn't really sure what could be the cause since it seems to happen only on some skins and not others.

These are my pc specs:
