Problem with WindowFX maximize

I use WindowFx 2.11. About half of the times that I maximize a window (any window), the window shrinks to the size of the window title bar, as well as the length of only the maximize minimize buttons. And every time this happens I have to stretch the window back to a normal size. It happenes way too often.
anyone came across this phenomena?

P.S - it is very, very annoying.

in configure - maximize - do you have limit checked?

I'm using 2.20a[b].003 but SDC shows 2.12.006 is available.

No. The only thing that is checked is 'Do not perform transition on maximized windows'. and the problem exists with all windows.
Where did you find version 2.20? (or are you not reffering to windowfx?)

I belive the do not perform transition on maxed windows refers to the effects when minimizing, maximizing. The second option down on the left, the limit max size - i originally went in and set it to my screen size with x/y coords, then unchecked the 1st box once I got it to work right. Just tried again with limit size checked and max moved the window down to about the lower right quad.

rechecked, applied / unchecked and applied back to normal on maxing.

Once you got it set, did you click 'apply'?

My FX start screen say 2.21 but SDC says the other. I'm using a Beta (show pre release in SDC)

Thanks for your replies Bichur. Nonetheless, I couldn't sort the problem. it exists only when the transitions are toggled on, regardless of any limits. I tried to follow your suggestion above, but didn't see any difference. Maybe I got your instructions wrong after checking and unchecking so many times

No can do, I update through SDC - if you have it, check show pre-release down at the bottom.
