I'm thinking since I do not have SP2 (nor do I want it) that there will be no new updates for me.

Yes, we all know you don't want SP2.

I was wrong - there were about 7 or 8 updates for me to install. Interesting!

Kona...I personally don't want SP2 either (or IE )...just because I don't want to have to go patching stuff up and I'm tired of reformatting for awhile...but there are still always updates for SP1...so make sure you at least check.

I did check - there were 4 updates for me. I'm happy to see others agree about SP2. On my machine it breaks more stuff than it fixes.

Never had a problem with SP2, never known anybody that had a problem either.

Jafo, This may be a silly question, but have you downloaded the new installer they put out for the updates? I thought it automatically promted for the okay, but maybe something has gone wrong since it first came out a few weeks ago.

I've just started using Microsoft Update instead of Windows Update. Tis much the same thing but updates Office as well.

Yes...using MS update...the new one...at the moment it still doesn't work though....[did last month]...

Hmmm? It worked for me 2 days ago. Hope you get it figured out, Jafo. Smile!
