Clear

I've been seeing a lot of "clear or glassy" effects on widgets and stuff. My question is, why has no one tried to make a WindowBlind like that. I have no idea how to make WB's, but there are some great skinners out there and I just wondered if anyone had thought about it. What I mean is, like the start menu be clear, except for maybe the name and the stuff in the start menu, like My Docs, and so on, even the taskbar. Just have a start button hanging in the air. I don't know, but I like the clear widgets, there about all I use. Just wondering.

Just a quick remark to this:

even the taskbar

The taskbar doesnt (at current stage) support any kind of transparency.
(But you can fake it though)

Well, like I said, I'm not a skinner, so therefore, I wouldn't know about transparency with the taskbar. And, I'm not sure, but I think I have or have seen programs that make the taskbar transparent. Tweak XP does. I just looked.
