DesktopX RSS Readers and the Slashdot Feed

Why are they not compatible?

I have tried many of the DesktopX RSS readers on the site, and none of them work with the Slashdot RSS feed at http://slashdot.org/index.rss . Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to make the Slashdot feed readable by the DesktopX readers? Thanks!

I found the answer: http://slashdot.org/index.rss doesn't work with the readers, however http://slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf does. Hope this is helpful to others who enjoy the Slashdot RSS feed!

Also, if your reader refresh too often you get blocked from /. for a little while. If it repeats you get blocked for longer time.
