How Do I Insert Personal Wallpaper into a PreDesigned Skin?

Personal Wallpaper

I am currently using the Elegent Skin which I like very much but would like to insert my own personal wallpaper. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do this. Can anyone help me.

Thanks.

Vukie,

I am not sure if you are talking about packaging a skin for distribution, or using a wall with the skin on your own computer.

Normally, for your own use on your computer, you would place a wallpaper (".jpeg", ".bmp", or ".png" file format) in "C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper" folder (where "C" is the letter drive).

Then, right-click an empty spot on your desktop > select "Properties" > go to the "Desktop" tab > your wall should now be in the list presented > highlight the wall name > click "Apply".

That should do it.

If you are talking about including it in a package, I believe you need SkinStudio to include it in the skin.

Open the skin in SkinStudio.
In the Left Tree view, select "Desktop"
In the Right Tree view, select "Desktop Wallpaper"
Right click and select Import > Browse for file.
Find the wall and selected it.
Save and apply.

What I do is open windowblinds go to basic settings and UNCHECK the box that says "apply any wallpaper supplied" click apply changes and you should be set.

Open the skin in SkinStudio.
In the Left Tree view, select "Desktop"
In the Right Tree view, select "Desktop Wallpaper"
Right click and select Import > Browse for file.
Find the wall and selected it.
Save and apply.

Remember if you include it in SkS to have WB apply the wallpaper, the image must be *.bmp
