tabbed dock wont go vertical

i just got object dock plus 1.11 and when i try to put a tabbed dock along the side of my screen it wont go vertically. it stays horizontal and the tabs are only along the side of it bunched up so i cant see them. the website shows docks that are exactly how i want mine to be. does anyone know how to change this or what setting makes the dock verticle?

You need to resize the dock, just as you would a window,

CR,

You can create a vertical dock by dragging the edges of the dock vertically, then horizontally to fit your needs.

Then in the "Size & Appearance" category of Dock Settings you can select the tab location.

If you want to Lock Icon Dragging, or Lock Dock Position - just right-click the dock > View > Lock options.

Note - if you are unable to drag dock size, deselect the Lock options.

I hope this helps.

Mr Chicken Rapist, you can resize the docks sort of like a window...grab the bottom of the dock and stretch it to make it square,or at least longer..then grab a side and make it narrow. Grab it and set it against the side and the tabs will be on the side. Resize as necessary to get the tabs showing all of their text. If you have it set to auto-hide...just the tabs will show, probably like you have seen them.
*It's easiest to do the resizing on a blank tab with no icons if you have one...it makes it a lot easier...just click your tabs until you have a blank or at least only half filled one so you can resize the dock easier. Hope that helps
