Pre-emptive Idiot Strike

I'm switching to a new ISP (DSL finally) this week and sometime during the remainder of the month, I've got to switch over my email address for my subscription here, all the software I've bought from SD and my logon at the SD store. Other than emailing SD sales support, what or who do I need to do? Thanks

BTW I'm the one trying to avoid doing something idiotic, a feat I have failed miserably at this week

Congrats on the FINALLY getting DSL. You won't be able to go back.

When I changed email addys, I just wrote Stardock Sales and gave them some information to verify my account and no problems.
Of course you will have to put in your new email in Stardock Central, etc. once they switch you over.

Contrats on the DSL. Also, I suggest you buy a domain for $10/year and never ever change your email address again no matter who your ISP is.

Just hooked it up...

whoa...where's the safety harness on this beast

anyone know of a site I can check my speed at?

Orion...great idea. Where can I check out getting a $10 domain

Congrats on broadband! Won't take long to become spoiled. Using someone elses PC on a dial-up connection has me pulling out my hair in impatience.

Speed check? How long since you've just browsed at deviantArt? That place is phenomenal once you don't have to wait 10 minutes for each page of thumbnails.

But I know what you mean. Here's a couple:
http://reviews.cnet.com/Bandwidth_meter/7004-7254_7-0.html (CNet)
http://nyc.speakeasy.net/ (Speakeasy)

Google will get you plenty, but they don't all work the same. I like the Speakeasy one here because it's the only one that really kicks my upload speed near max, allowing me to calibrate meters....I digress.

Have fun.
