Hello gang. I wanted to publically thank everyone who has been so kind to me. I noticed I even got a badge from having 1000 downloads. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I must depart from this place now in terms of being a part of community and submitting files, including screenshots. You see I can handle having a wallpaper rejected but when my very first Rainlendar skin gets rejected, when others have been approved that are clearly rip-offs of the Tranquil format, well... I know it is time to stop designing anything at all and just fall silent. I know it was rejected because I looked for submissions awaiting moderation and there was nothing under Rainlendars. It was my opinion that because this is a skinning site and not a wallpaper site, that if I made a SKIN it would be accepted. I worked very hard on it, my feelings are well... they're just hurt over this. It was the very first skin I made. It would have been grand to share with all and exchange dialogue with the experts as to how to better myself. But this won't happen now. I will try to always support my favorite screenshot authors... Cindi, Karen, Boopish, Goober, Boss, Himangshu, and Butch (for they have always supported me). But I will be creating nothing of my own, ever again. I want to thank the aforementioned people for all their support and help, and I am glad people asked for the Rainy to be sent to them, and glad you like it. Smiles. Nods. Bye guys. Take care.

Miss Angel on Ice   ... er.... my guess is you were the recipient of the recent bug email ... since fixed.

Several people received rejection emails [usually in pairs] yet the works were in fact still in the Queue awaiting checking.

You'll most likely find an approval email there now, too...

You've received no email stating that the skin was rejected, and knowing full well that this site has been suffering many glitches, you still assume the skin was rejected. You've made no attempted to contact a Mod to ask what may have happened........ have I got that right? Do I understand what you're saying?

I double checked..... The skin is definitely posted.

I forget how many times we have said to people that if you think there is a problem, or that your skin has been wrongly rejected, just e-mail an admin! That way we avoid dramas like this.

Thanks guys but considering I just got accused of being a drama queen yet again and likened to somebody's ex-wife I no longer feel comfortable posting here. I made one last screenie and one final skin. It's really been great, truly. Bye guys. Thanks for all support and thanks for approving my skins. Actually I did receive a rejection email and did not get one of acceptance. I had no reason to think it was a bug; didn't know there was one. But anywho... take care all.

And P.S. Anybody who thinks this was a drama, really needs to get out more.

As this came up a few weeks ago on a thread where a few people got 4-5 rejection emails and it was stated there was a bug in the system and they were trying to fix it, I'd say this thread wasn't needed. An email would have been proper or better. But you do what you want.

"Over there" the word "drama" is used as we would use the word "problem" here in the states. I'm always amused watching F-1 auto racing when they talk about great "drama" on the track. Nobody was accusing you of being a drama queen, and the "I'm bailing out" thread was compared to an ex-wife, not you.

Please, lets all calm down. Angel, please reconsider this. Before you make a final decision. Let your pain and anger pass, so you can think clearly. Nobody wants you to leave. And forgive me guys, but this is another woman thing you can't understand. Everything will be alright, Angel. This is not a lasting problem. Please, just try to forget it. It happens to the best of us.

I don't think any of this will cause any grudge at anybody. It was caused by a bug in the system and you shouldn't worry about continue to post here. Hang in there. Stay around.
