Start Up screens

hi all,
i was just wondering if you need any special software for the startup screens. I downloaded Bootskin but i am not sure if the start up screens will work for it. If not, how do i get these cool start up screens to work on my PC. Thanks again

I also want to know how the heck I turn my wallpaper sized image into a bootskin. im not bothered about progress anims, I jus wanna know how!

Yes bootskin is the program you want, and there are a ton of bootskins in the bootskin library to choose from.

There should also be a few threads around here on how to create bootskins, just gotta look for them.
