MSN login keeps poppin up?

Pretty sure Objectdock is the culprit

Ever since using Objectdock my Msn login screen keeps popping up whenever it wants to. Is anyone else having this problem and if so when can be done to stop this. It always seems to pop up at the worst times, like in the middle of playing games or using image editors.

Every once in a while MSN login pops up when I'm offline. If I close it, it will pop up later. I open IE, internet options, connections, and choose never dial. Then it stops until the next time some program changes it back to dial whenever.

Then why is this forum called Stardock Support? Just curious. Cause I'm sure this could turn people off such as novice users thinking they can get support here for a product and no one responds to their posts. I realize that other people do and most often answer the questions but very often alot of posts sit here for days or more unanswered.

OK...time to revive this thread and see if I can get any ideas as to why this is happening.

Webgizmos, I do not know if this will help, but as I was searching for other "tweaks" I ran across this one concerning MSN..

Perhaps you can search the site a bit more completely and find *exactly what your looking for??
worth a shot..

Anyway,
Good luck,

The thing that keeps popping up is the login box for MSN. You know...where you addy's are listed. It's not messenger I'm having problems with.

But thanks for the effort Zero!

LoL..No effort at all WG. I remembered seeing that and figured if they had one solution listed at the site, that you may be able to find the solution you need there just by doing a little surfing of your own..

Ah well,
Good hunting.

have you gone into internet options, connections, and checked never dial?

I have back and re-check it sometimes after updates.

one other - on the msn login window, don't have it checked to sign in automatically.

with objectdock, it seemed that earlier version of some docklets (like weather) had a script that automatically wanted a connection.

Zero...trust me...of looked all over for a solution to this little glitch. Posting here is always a last option. Usually if I have a problem with anything on my pc I google the problem first and then work from there. But I'm sure you know as well as I do that those searches can take forever.

Bichur...I suspected that it had something to do with a program wanting to connect as well, but the thing is that it just started doing it and I haven't installed anything new or different to my docks. But that doesn't mean it isn't something in my docks. I guess I'm going to have to go through all my dock entries and check all the settings to see if anything is enabled by default.
