ill make this quick...
im usin some od programs, but only what i can get demo, im trying to hold off on gettin a package untill i can get a package of updated stuff... i dont wanna have to dl the package tan dl all components again sepratly cuz they all been upgraded...
is ob 2004 new? or will i have to dl stuff on the side after the main dl due to upgrades.
u see where im commin from? if so, u can answer my q

In addition, SDC only updates newer files. So you do not have to re-download files already on your computer. So if only a the .exe or .dll is updated, that is all it will download, saving bandwidth.

sorry bout that, i was wonderin where that other post went to...
will the programs update themselves? or will i have to hunt for all the links to get all the updates myself?

The program you get with Object Destop is Stardock Central. You can install any of the programs from the Object Desktop window there. Stardock Central will also update all the programs you have installed from there automatically.

You have to manually click install to update a program, but once you open the SDC application it will tell you if there are any updates available. There is also a tray app you can isntall that will let you know when updates are ready. All are customizable depending on how you want it to work.
