backgrounds for objectdock

Is it possible to make the background transparent in objectdock so that just the icons show?

On a regular dock, use the config panel > appearance section > transparency slider below background.

For a tabbed dock, you can use this Link, or this Link

I have not set up a transparent tabbed dock for a while, but the last time I did - I was required to use at least one character in the tab (which leaves text floating on one side of the dock).
