Buttons are broken with some skins

Hi,

Some skins which I have downloaded shows buttons that are broken. I have the latest wb version and running it on a notebook with win xp sp2. Some malfunction skins; elsdee, mako and innerspace. Some good skins; dogmax, gt-3 and skinplant.

Any ideas?

Thanx

Which buttons? I'm using elsdee and no problems here.

For example the windows explorer and internet explorer:

All standard buttons which are available. The one's not available are ok.

they look something like this:

-----------

The right line of every button is somewhat placed to the innerleft of the button.

but only the buttons are bad , also the selection at some radio buttons are no longer visible with those skins.

The command buttons in my case appear to be distorted. The middle part of the button (when we exclude both the left and right edges) - or the central box appears to be slided down along Y axis. I see this problem with XP SP2 and not with XP SP1.

Hi,

Did send this to stardock support. They now recognise the error and they told me that it is directed to the development team. So I guess this is a buggie that they will fix in the next update?!

I am sorry to say support may have given you wrong information.

Based on the description of this problem, it sounds like a video driver glitch but a screenshot would help.

I would try upgrading your video drivers to the latest ones to see if that helps.  If they are already the latest then try downgrading to a slightly older version of the drivers.

I have this exact same problem with windowblinds and always have... My suggestion, go and try using msstyles instead, I have never had a problem with it on my pc... (I know I am going to get pissed on for saying that, but it is the truth... )
