Maximize window not working correctly

Maximize window not working correctly

I have my windows taskbar on the left hand side of the screen. See the following image:

Whenever WindowBlinds is running and I maximize a window, it positions and sizes the window without traking into account that the taskbar is on the left side of the screen. See the following image:

This does not happen when WindowBlinds is not running.

Any thoughts?

My best guess is that it's something with the skin you're using. I guess they have to be coded special to work with the taskbar being supported vertically instead of the standard horiztonal.

Have you tried using a different skin to compare?

Right click the taskbar and select properties > on the Taskbar tab, check "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" > OK. I just tried it, and works here.

Im having pretty much the same problem, but my taskbar is on top. What happens is that when i maximize a window, it will maximize to the size of my monitor, not taking into account the size of the taskbar. When i put the "keep taskbar on top of other windows" option, it will maximize behind the taskbar, which means that the title on the window maximized will be hidden by the taskbar. I tried several skins, apparently its a windowblinds issue. Anyone can help me out?

Well I wish I had an answer but I have the same problem. My taskbar is at top, maximized menus go behind it and leave a small space at the bottom of the screen.

If someone knows the trick please let us know.

In basic settings, uncheck the 'apply the skins color scheme' checkbox then click 'apply settings'. This cured the maximize minimize issues of most applications. But it doesn't work all the time ms office apps, adobe apps, etc.

just be sure when you apply new skin, check the box again, after the skins is applied, uncheck the box again then click 'apply settings'
