Each library of themes requires a different software. Look at the top of the library for information on which software is needed to run those themes. Then check www.cordelia.wincustomize.com for some newbie tutorials.

Using the themes manager to install .suites has never worked for me, every time I tried to load in a suite file it gave me some error, so I haven't touched it since.

Object Desktop (ODNT) is the best of all.

Hi y'all, I've found the full version of Object Desktop to be the best skinning and theming software there is. I did try Style Xp for a while but found it restrictive in some aspects, whereas OD gives complete control to the user To Ms Bebi Bulma, I had a very similar problem with theme manager, but when uninstalled and reinstalled it loaded the suites ok. Perhaps you could try this yourself. However, I do have a problem with saving my desktop to create a suite for my own use, any solutions on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm relatively new to computing, theming and am technically challenged, lol. The problem is that I can select all the suite components but theme manager freezes up when I click Save Desktop. Other than that little glitch, I am thoroughly satisfied with OD and recommend it to anyone interested in changing their desktop appearance. When I am less technically challenged and more confident, I shall venture into the field of creating my own skins from scratch, and many thanx to the many great skinners at Wincustomize who have inspired ideas for myself and others to put into practice.
Anyhow, Citizen Tim, go with Wincustomize and Stardock products and I'm sure you won't be dissappointed. Sure that's my opinion, but it's shared by millions of others, and we all can't be wrong

ObjectDesktop for me, too. Comes with all the real goodies, download the public verions of CursorXP, Bootskin and LogonStudio and you have all you need.
