Nice clear picture?

I have a problem getting a real nice clear picture for my previews in paint shop. Have a copy of photoshop and when I save a picture in it, it comes out alot clearer. Any suggestions other than just use photoshop?

If you're saving in jpg format, make sure its compression is set to the lowest (as in, LEAST compression) and that should help de-fuzz your previews. I always save my previews as the highest quality possible.

If you use the Export > JPEG Optimizer, in PSP, you can see how the compression setting will affect the image, and adjust it accordingly. I have pretty good luck with jpg compression in PSP. As a general rule, the more complex an image, the less compression it will take before it gets funky looking.
