Cursor XP

Just wanted to know about cursor xp packages. The last few times I"ve downloaded them they have just been an assortment of all the cursors that go in a cursor xp package. I just want to know if were supposed to do them ourselves or what? They use to be packaged but now the last few I've downloaded weren't. Are they having trouble with them, or is this how it's going to be from now on..

Sounds like you need to rename the file extension.
Right click the file and select "rename". Replace the .zip part of the file name to .CurXPTheme.

Right click/ Save Target As to a temp folder. If it doesn't save with the correct extension, re-associate it using 'open with'

oops........yeah...what K said.....

....when I grow up I want to be able to type as fast as Randy (I just don't want to live in Texas... )

There's nothing wrong with that cursor theme. I suspect you're suffering the problem some folks have after installing SP2 for XP. Try this....

Step 1. File extension must not be hidden. If you're unsure what that means, open Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > "Hide extensions for known file types" should be un-checked.

Step 2. Right-click the file and select Rename. Change the zip part of the name to CurXPTheme
If you get a warning about changing the extention, click OK.

Step 3. Double-click the renamed file

Hope that helps.
