For some reason I've stopped getting presents over the years. Maybe I should call the man and ask him what's going on.

I'm right with you, Helen. I have a steadfast belief in the power of Christmas Spirit. Santa is just an extension on that belief to help get kids on the right path.

Well I leave a glass of milk and some cookies every christmas eve and they are gone the next day. So is either Santa or some hungry person breaks into my house every x-mas

When I was little I hid out waiting for Santa all night long. I waited and waited and waited. All of a sudden something comes down the chimney. It was a group of Santa's tiny elves. They were scurrying around eating the cookies, drinking the milk, and most importantly putting the presents under the tree. I popped up from behind the couch and asked them where Santa was. They all instantly started scurrying up the Chimney. One stayed and told me that Santa can't fit down chimneys but he was right up on the roof. The little elf scurried back up the chimney in a flash and I heard Santa Ho Ho Hoing for about 38 years now.

Santa,Saint Nicolas,Santa Claus,Agios Vasilis, however you call him it exists,in all cultures and civilizations and there are proven facts of his existance, his appearence in history, the ideals he stood for, the ideals which people still believe in. I believe in Xmas Spirit, not only by logic means, but with the heart, when you've come to love someone you become a bit more human,a bit less of a scientist.Xmas is a magical season ya all,you feel lighter and a beat closer to the heart. Helenangel i believe Santa will grand you what you wished, for all people who deserve to be loved and who truly have love in their heart to share are meant to find their way someday, even if the trail is settled with tears, even when you reach the limits of logical thinking, someday love will find the way.Merry Xmas to all and may the Xmas Spirit live inside you in all the years to come, even when life and circumstances seem to dissent this.

I remember when I was a kid (I was maybe 6 or 7 years old or so), as I came back from school one day, completely humilated because my friends had laughted at me for believing in Santa Claus. I was really angry as I confronted my mom. She had always told me that lying was wrong and yet she had lied to me making up this Santa story. I felt so mad and humiliated. And at the same time, I learned that adults do lie too, although they tell us that lying is wrong.
Weird thing is that, as a parent, I still entertain that myth with my own kids. I hope they won't react as I did whn they learn the truth...

Right on Cerebro JD. Right on Cyberworld. Right on Helenangel. I believe in the power of giving, and as the great philosopher Luther Vandros said "I believe in the power of Love"

ps. uh ..Cyberworld and Helenangel, why don't you just take that drive over the holidays and meet. Maybe make both of your Christmas wishes come true.

Luther Vandros said "I believe in the power of Love"

..another one by Jennifer Rush, remastered by Celine Dion refrases what has already been said:

"We're heading for something
Somewhere i've never been
Sometimes i am frightened
But i'm ready to learn
Of the Power of Love."

It might sound romantic or utopic but it exists, when u feel it it fills u up inside,it does not subside logic,it just enforces it and you as a person.

I think maybe Sleeping Dragon is oversleeping and just has wild dreams.
Sorry dude,i tend to relate with actual people, the net i don't trust that much.
Maybe because you can actually imply or impose a whole altered character of yourself,if you want to pretend or just not be yourself. The net is a place where you can actually let your alter ego develop and be expressed.Personally i try to be myself and not lie, just because i still have faith in people,i still believe that there is what we call soul.My only wish is that God takes me before science proves that is all part of a brain function. I really would take my own life if i knew i never had the option to choose how my life is to be,that it was all just part of a process judged and formed by exogenous factors. But as long as i know i have the right to choose, the right to feel and be free,i live and love on planet Earth.

Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for YOU; and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am, you may be also.

-JC

But we are here for a purpose, Cyberworld, to be salt in a dull world. I also believe that science reinforces the Supernatural and does not detract or disprove it.
I live in reality. Sleeping Dragon is not an alter ego. It is an asian idiom for one who has not reached their maximum potential. I only noticed the mutual banter between the two of you and made a suggestion. It was not meant to offend, but I apologize if it did.

Merry Christmas, Cyberworld!!
