That is possibly due to an issue with a preloaded program on your Acer laptop.

Please download the Patch of Acer eDataSecurity Management V3.0 at the bottom of the list at this page: http://www.egistec.com/oem-acer001/program-update.html

 

You may have to reboot and reinstall the dock after the update.
