Desktop X

I Have a couple of questions about desktop X, please could you help me when them
1) How do you get DX to run on startup
2) How do you customize the shortcuts (e.g. on longhorn slate one of the shortcuts is my documents, how do i add more things like this, like other folders of mine like my pictures, or the controll panel.
3) How do i set DX as 'always on top'
4) How do i change the weather thing to england because when it says enter ZIP code, england dosnt have them, it has postal codes, if you enter that, it says incorrect zip code, if you enter you country (and ive tried both England, and United Kingdom), it also says incorect ZIP code, is there anyway i can change this

Thanks, Carl

1) Right click the DX icon in the tray, go to configure DesktopX and then hit the "Defaults" tab. You should see that option at the top.

2) You can right click on any shortcut or object and choose "properties", you can change most things in the object in this window, or you can right click any object and "clone" it, and then change it by right clicking it and choosing properties again.

3) DX "is" always on top.....isn't it?

4) cant remember....sorry.

4. Go to http://www.weather.com/  Type in your city in the "Enter city or US zip" box.  Click on the city corresponding to the one you want (in the case where there are more than one city with that name in the world). Now, look at the address bar (the URL) and write down the code just before the question mark (usually 4 letters and 4 numbers), for example London would be UKXX0085.

Use that code in the weather object when it asks you for the zip code.

Some weather objects also allow you to type the city and then the country.

example "Toronto, Canada" or "London, England"

If you go into your DX configuration. There is a button called "Work Area". There you can reduce the size a maximized window takes up. I hope that's what you're looking for.
