object dock clock hands

Is it possible to shorten the minute hand on the object dock clock?,this seems to be far to long for most of the clock faces i have downloaded. is it a fixed length?,or is there a way to shorten it?

You could edit the image in Photoshop or a Paint program.

how are the clock hands produced?They could look better.(off red and a funky grey)

Help. I drag the clock's hand to the edge of the clock base... now it's missing. Where can I fond it?
