ok - this may be addressed someware already, but, her goes. I have a couple a plans/ideas for skins and widgets. The problem I have is this. The artwork is Trade Marked. I have tried to get permissions from two organizations for permissions to use a Logo / logo'd work. My question is, what is the best way to get permission? Does anyone have any suggestion on who to talk to? One of my plans is for A Nebraska Husker footbal Windowblinds, another is for a Barry Bonds Home Run tracker widget with San Francisco logo. It is so aggrivating when I am not recieving any replies from indaviduals from either organization. Any Ideas, or help, will be appreciated.

It sounds like fan art to me if you make all the images yourself.

Sports teams do not grant permission for unlicensed use of logos and etc...  Sports logos are big money, and that's all they're interested in.

Yeah, but that is for profit. There is no profit for the author from a skin created solely as fan art. Although, the logo license holder may be offended by lack of quality

Chas....profit or none, the US football teams will refuse permission.

Anything you see out there with their logo is either theirs or illegal...

Sport leagues make big money licencing the use of their teams' logos. And they will not give any permission for free, even if it's just for fan art.

all - I can say is - that sucks - But I would rather have to mkae my own from home than in prison - sheesh
