I know paxx, I just meant that it's such an obvious issue that they would certainly already know about it, so one would think they would have mentioned it. I know IconX already is available standalone, but I hadn't heard they were going to totally de-integrate it with DX... But I guess that doesn't change the fact it doesn't get along with RightClick.

and broken with dual monitor setup - menu only appears on primary adapter

Working on dual monitors here with one small annoyance......... the menu pops up left of the cursor on 2nd monitor regardless of position on screen, which means if I click too near the left edge of 2nd monitor, the menu will be split between both moniotrs.

RightClick should also be able to import in your WindowBlinds skins.

As for DesktopX  - what we hope to do is have RightClick detect whether you're running DesktopX and add a DesktopX entry to the menu.

> RightClick did NOT respect my unchecked "Show Desktop Icons" desktop right-click setting. When I start RightClick, it immediately brings back my desktop icons, which I obviously want hidden. Also, OD zoom no longer works and my wallpaper disappears, too! I'd also like to be able to have the "New" submenu available to me with RightClick.

I agree with CaveBear, having the "New" submenu that lets you create new objects from the available templates is very important. Preferably it should make available everything that was already on explorer's right-click menu.

Also, I'm not quite sure how I can import into RightClick an ObjectBar popup bar I'd already created. Is that even possible yet?

Also doesn't work with IconX.

And I was also hoping to have my GERMAN right-click menu back an my GERMAN system. Not that I have any problems with english, but I don't like it mixed in system areas very much...

Got so excited when it poped up just like the name says. Started modifying the entries and everything was going along really well. Until it crashed. And none of the changes stuck. This morning I'll start all over again and exit/restart after every change.

Need a [X] Hide desktop Icons option for those of us not using DX. TIA

I haven't played with it much, but it looks like it's going to be a great program.

Only one application problem so far, hangs on shutdown for both my tablet and desktop. "Program not responding" Ending or waiting resolves.

My personal problem now is what to I migrate from my OD+ tabs to right click?

Cool Beans!!
Like Exodus Crow I'd like some hints on modifying the skins. I'm using my current skin but I need the text to offset to the right like the QNX skin does.

It's not importing windowblinds skins for me.
This is something I can really use. BUT there are a few things...
OK, I figured out how to offset the text now I'd like to know if there is a way to make the folders "fly out" menus instead of adding all the contents to the main menu? I do this on the task bar by making a toolbar out of a folder and then setting the handle all the way to the left. I use this EXTENSIVELY for cad drawings. My main folder contains a folder for each year since 1990 and each of those contain approx 50-100 subfolders and any new jobs that are waiting for a Job #. Please tell me there's a way to incorporate this into right-click. If not currently then I'd like to add it to the wish list.

Couple more items
1. After using the systray item and then deleting it (couldn't get any results with it) it left it's "space" in the window. Now anything I delete from the main menu or a sub-menu leaves it's "space" empty. I tried unloading/reloading, changing skins, and shutting down and restarting. The empty spaces remain.
2. Not sure of the sequence of events but more than once clicking an item has unloaded Window Blinds. At least once it was when I clicked "Add more shortcuts here" on the Pop-Up Menu.
3. I did find out that the Pop-Up menu would create the Fly-Out folder menus I wanted.

@Lantec, you can resize the menu's manually. Move your mouse to the edge of an open one, and the resize cursor will apear.

No prob.

I find it to be working well once I got used to it looking slightly different (clock it for example). It does import the existing windowblind for me. Although I have tried it only with one WB so far.
I find the system tray icon a bit interesting though as its for Objectbar. Obviously a placeholder until a proper replacement is found. Not that I run OB, but I would imagine those who do could get confused as to which one it is.

A few more things
Item 4
Under Multi Function Item there is a command for "Pop Up Real Start Menu".
I only see a couple milliseconds of menu in the upper left corner of the screen.
Item 5
I've tried assigning icons to items on the Desktop Menu and this does not seem to work.
Item 6
I was thrown out of Starkdock Central and Windowblinds was unloaded when I did a second right click on the desktop while the config menu was open and chose Pop Up Menu/Add More Shortcuts Here!.
Item 7
It would really be nice if there was a "Save Configuration" option in the config menu. It's a bit frustrating to lose an hour or so of modifications because I didn't unload/load.

Still working on it tho

Way cool for a beta program. Couple of issues, nothing I can't work around.

Look forward to next build. My only suggestions are better integration with DesktopX and IconX and save/load feature.

Great job.

hey anyone, how bout a screenshot or two?

Paxx, how does it look compared to the LiteStep popup?

Phar0e: it can look like anything you want, it's skinnable, or you can set it to be skinned by Windowblinds.
It's much easier to configure than a Litestep popup, but obviously a lot less customizable it doesn't have hundreds of modules the way LS has, although it does support a "plugin" feature, so maybe plugin programmers can contribute to make this app even cooler.

Here are  a few screenshots:

Moving on...
I still get no results from Systray no matter what configuration I try. Thought it might have to do with the settings for the Taskbar so I unchecked the "hide inactive icons" - no go. Like to know if anyone has gotten this part to work and if so how.

I've had the program unload windowblinds many times under different circumstances (sometimes just having the menu open). Maybe "unloading" is incorrect. If I go to the appearance tab under Display Properties it shows the current windowblind. If I apply another blind it works and then I can reapply the blind I was previously using.

In case it's important
Windows XP SP2
512mb
Pentium 4 - 2.8 ghz
Latest version Windowblinds 4.4+
Not using DX,OD or Iconx, do have Sysmetrix 3.24 running
