Internet Explorer wont open.

Well yesterday i stumbled over windowsblind. I thought it was kinda cool so i DLed it.
Then i changed my skin. Fine looks cool!
but when i wanted to open my browser window it didnt open. Ive tryed with various skins but it dosnt work. So now i am ignoring IE and im not skinning it.
But its kinda lame so i was wondering how to solve the problem?

I don't use IE, but from what I've read here on the board, certain Add-On toolbars will cause problems with IE and WindowBlinds.

Things like the Yahoo toolbar, Google toolbar, etc... any toolbar that adds functionality, but is not a standard part of IE.

Have you used any other software such as windowblinds in the past?

What other programs are you running when the problem occurs?

Try removing, rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting.

google toolbar doesn't bother windowblinds except that occasionally the buttons don't line up, but I think stuff like hotbar(which is a really old way to change the look of ie) doesn't like wb.
is it possible this is a problem just with the shareware ver?

Some popup-blockers can cause the problem.

AHHH found the problem. It wasnt enough just to close down the pop-up washer. I needed to uninstall it.

and now it works

hhmmm... I was going to say make sure your computer doesn't have spyware on it and go search for Spybot Search and Destroy program.

But since everything is running, then that is not a problem, but I recomment the program anyway.

For future reference, what popup blocker were you using?

In case anyone needs a great Ad/Popup Blocker (but so much more than that) I can
recommend Ad Muncher. Although not free, It's well worth every penny
IMHO. $25 lifetime fee, after 30 day free trail. I know it doesn't conflict
with IE and WB , because although I don't use IE much, I do have to use it
at times.

You know, for some reason I thought that Pop-Up Stopper Pro was malware.

Google toolbar does a fine job with pop ups as well.
