How to submit a screenshot with Apo-67 SpiderMan's wall without being rejected ?

All you have to do is obscure it a bit, so that it cant be reused....no permission necessary.

It isn't 'clever'.

The wall has a central disc...and a lot of 'blank' space.....you obscured the blank space so it takes 5 seconds to get the 'wall' itself.

The OWNER OF THE WALL CAN DELETE IT WHEN HE WANTS TO......

BUT....

HE CANNOT DELETE YOUR DISTRIBUTION/SCREENSHOT, ergo he cannot control his image's distribution....ergo copyright violation on your part.

I stuck the bionic dot in the middle and it was accepted quickly. But I have now updated my screenshot for another wall

A lot of screenshots (i'd had to look for them, but i don't just get the time) are using WallPapers posted here or elsewhere. As the credit is ported to the author, i don't really understand where's the problem ...

Thanks Chickie, but i think the Apo wall is perfect as it is and goes much better than any other one with the rest of the suite

You are effectively distributing another's wall without permission.

The issue is clear, plain and simple.

Screenshots are for showing skins, etc...not for posting other peoples' wallpapers unadorned, or effectively so....

Private message for APO : it would be cool if you could re-do another wall that will goes as well with the suite, and whith a big nasty Apocalypse © on it, in the "lot of 'blank' space" (and somewhere but in little font , written : permission given to neophil to use it )

Neo, it's really simple: obscure partly the middle dot with a window and the SS will get accepted.

Philippe: masque, couvre, ou cache partiellement l'élément principal du fond d'écran en plaçant simplement une fenêtre par dessus.  Pas besoin de le cacher complètement, mais assez pour qu'il ne soit pas trop facile de simplement effacer la fenêtre dans Photoshop pour reconstituer le fond d'écran dans son intégrité.

Je parle aussi le français stupide.

Ouais mais bon, c'est nul à chier, la suite d'Apo elle est super telle quelle, et je ne me plierai point à ces connacités sorties d'un autre temps, surtout quand on peut avoir le wallpaper en direct download sans avoir à se prendre la tête dans je ne sais quelle manip de récupération ...

Mon bureau étant ce qu'il est, il restera , nan mais > (d'ailleurs, vu les bonnes relations que j'ai avec Apo, je lui ai envoyé un petit mot à ce sujet , niark, niark, niark)

neophil... the rules are in place to protect the copyrights of the artist. If you can't appreciate that, then by all means don't share your screenshots.

Neo... Download the Bionic Dot Windows Media Player skin by TheSkins Factory, and turn it red. It is a pefect fit in the middle of thew wall by Apo. That is all you have to do and the screenshot will be accepted. Take my advice, I already got a screeny of that wall rejected and then accepted myself.

As i said the wall from Apo is perfect to go with the rest of the suite and even more, can be direct downloaded from here without any kind of manipulation on any screenshot with it?

I actually do that for every screenshot I do involving a windowblind with a custom wall

I'd could give a link (not the shot, just the link Jafo ) to see the shot but unfortunatly the website is down right now (or i can't connect to it )

I'm not on the way to change anything on my desk, but perhaps, if things are keeping so silly, i'll delete all i uploaded here ...

Neo, this policy is in place to protect he author.  If Apo decides to delete his wallpaper from here for any reasons, he has the right to do so, and he can. However he has no control over your screenshot. The original author should always have 100% control over his own work.
