Tablet PC Conflicts

Well I've decided that I want to add to my PC collection and right now the only things I haven't got are a pda and tablet.

My question is, will the object desktop software work with xp tablet edition?

If anyone has an idea of a better tablet I should look into please post the info and link

Actually I would think there would not be any difference from a Laptop to a Tablet really...
