Yes It was about that, But I wanted to open up a topic about that. Is that not what forums are for? If you look at one of the forums on the top it is titled "You have a great web site you want to share? Post it here!" Is that not a similar Spam as you call it? I do not intend to offend anyone by doing so. I was trying to start a conversation about Software Review sites. I am still new at doing so, and I apologize for the error.

mcobra41....no dramas....perhaps a simple link in the thread you mentioned...asking for feedback would be fine....but a separete thread 'promoting' a site is note quite appropriate.....Imagine if all 1.2 million members were to do likewise....you can see the potential for mayhem....

...not just a separate thread, but the same post in other threads too. That sort of thing gets you noticed, but in the wrong way

Hey, so is it ok for me to open a conversation about Software Reviews, or is that sort of thing frowned on? I do develop and design the sites at www.toptenreviews.com, our company is currently looking for some software products out there that do not have reviews, so that we can do legitimate reviews on that type of software. If you were to go to the site you would see that we do the reviews and only the reviews. I am trying to learn from a large group of people and get their opinions on what types of reviews they would like to see as well as what improvements we could do on our site.

Also what does "You two are sooooooo PC" mean? I'm not sure I understood it. Also I appreciate the time that you took to answer my questions.

So PC means they are not taking offense or reflecting in a negative light on this topic. Instead they are attempting to explain the reasons why certain things are not found to be acceptable on the message board. While also attempting to indicate it is not a personal thing, but is applied to the whole members base

yrag....for months now, due to a 'bug' with my install/setup of IExplode, I had been unable to edit my own posts...so...any and all errors you find were inoperable, unlike Joe Average who can and does correct his/her own spelling.

So....

As they said in 'The Big Bus'...."one foot and they call you a cannibal"....
