Problem connecting to Steam...

Anyone having a problem connecting to steam? I followed instructions on website to open ports 1200 UDP, 27000-27015 UDP, and 27030-27039 but still nothing. Any help?

I read the FAQ. It just says to open the above mentioned ports. I just figured there was a lot of general computer knowledge here at wincustomize. I have seen a lot of posts on gaming forums where people have the same problem but no one has the solution. I'm just trying all my options.

Have you tried emailing their technical support. Probably has something to do with your firewall or proxxy and they should be able to walk you through it. It's a subscription site? You paid for access?
